Prevent Child Abuse Georgia – A private non-profit organization dedicated to serving Georgia families. First Steps program provides expectant parents and parents of newborns with emotional support, parenting education, and referrals to community services. Women, Infants and Children (WIC) 1-800-4PD-HELP (4357) WIC is for women and young children from moderate and low income families. It provides healthy food, support for breastfeeding moms, information about how to eat healthy, a visit with a Health Dept Nurse, and referrals to other health services.
